More Than a Nice Talk
How do I book a mental health speaker for an employee wellbeing event?
Start with what you want people to do afterwards, then find a speaker with real expertise and a track record with organisations like yours. A good brief and a short call will get you most of the way.
A great talk gets people talking. The best ones keep them talking the following week. Here's how to get there:
Set your goal. Awareness, reducing stigma, supporting managers, or launching a wellbeing programme? Each needs a different talk.
Know your audience. All staff, leaders, or a specific team? Size, location, and in person or online.
Check credentials. Look for real qualifications, lived experience of delivering, and named clients.
Ask about follow-up. Can the talk lead into training, such as Mental Health First Aid?
Book a call. A short conversation shapes the talk to your people.
I speak at conferences, wellbeing days and leadership events across the UK, in person or live online. Talks cover mental health at work, spotting the signs, starting the conversation, and neurodiversity. Teams at Citypoint, Landsec, Gymbox, Natixis, HSBC and WHSmith have booked me.
Every event is different, so I quote once I understand what you need.
