Don't Let Your Skills Expire
My Mental Health First Aid certificate is expiring. Which refresher do I need?
You need the MHFA England Refresher: a four-hour live course that renews your certificate. MHFA England recommends refreshing every three years.
Skills fade when you don't use them, and the guidance changes. The refresher brings you back up to date and gives you space to practise the conversations again.
Your certificate is under 3 years old, or due soon: book the MHFA Refresher, £150 plus VAT.
Your certificate expired less than 6 months ago: you can still book the MHFA Refresher.
Your certificate expired more than 6 months ago: you'll need the full Adult Mental Health First Aid course.
The refresher is open to anyone who has completed Adult MHFA (two-day or one-day) or MHFA Champion. It runs live online from 09:30 to 13:30, or as half a day at your workplace. You leave with a new MHFA England certificate of attendance.
Trained in Youth MHFA? I run Youth MHFA refreshers too. Email me to arrange one.
One tip: put your renewal date in the diary now. It's far easier than starting again.
